On 25 May, 2023, Machik held a memorial screening in Boston featuring Jinpa in honor of Pema Tseden. The community discussion session held after the screening extended to well over two hours after the film.
Jinpa features a truck driver and a hitchhiker, the latter seeking a long held revenge. The story’s compelling characters demonstrate the difficult process of transformation.
