Across one week in late April and early May, Machik friends around the world will open their homes, gather around tables, and share something powerful: an evening of open conversation, inspiring stories, and a shared commitment to Tibet's future.
These are locally organized dinners -- intimate gatherings of friends, family, and new faces -- connected by a shared, meaningful purpose. Each dinner is its own event, shaped by the people who host it. Together, they form something larger: a global moment of connection for Tibet. |

This year, the Machik Global Dinner takes on new meaning.
The week of dinners - running April 25 through May 2, 2026 - will culminate with the 19th Annual Machik Lindsay Dinner, a beloved annual event held in Lindsay, Kawartha Lakes, Ontario, where about 200 people will come together for the gathering that started it all.
The Lindsay Dinner is a living testament to what a committed community can build. It was this original dinner that helped raise the funding for a school in Chungba - a school that now stands as a symbol of what shared purpose can accomplish. Year after year, the people who gather in Lindsay reaffirm their connection to that work, and to each other.
By weaving the Machik Global Dinner into this tradition, we are growing the circle globally. We are saying: this table has room for the whole world.
