Elizabeth Tseng 5K Run

American University student and Machik intern, Elizabeth Tseng, became the latest volunteer to run to raise awareness and funds for Tibetan education.

Following in the footsteps of Denny Clifford–who ran the 2007 Boston Marathon for Machik–and “Iron” Carrie Regan –who completed the Ironman Triathlon–Elizabeth has generated awareness of problems of education in the Tibetan region by running the Washington DC Annual Cherry Blossom 5K Run. Thanks to Elizabeth, we are nearly $1000 closer to being able to open the Chungba Middle School in August 2008!
