Thanks to seed funding from the National Geographic Genographic Legacy Fund, Machik has now initiated the first project of the Tibetan Community Library (TCL). The TCL will become a unique Tibetan-language virtual library, built by and for Tibetans on the plateau.

Our initial project is a collaboration with Professor Gonbo Tashi and Tibet University's Agricultural College in Kongpo (Linzhi).  Along with six selected Tibetan students, Professor Gonbo Tashi has completed a project to document traditional techniques, customs, and views on agriculture that are now disappearing.
